ATEI OF THESSALONIKI
Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnerships

The Erasmus Mundus Action 2 - LOT 6 (previously ECW LOT 5) project was addressed to Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan (South Caucasus). The EU partners were from Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Latvia, United Kingdom and Bulgaria (for more details please see Members).

The ATEI of Thessaloniki has coordinated four (4) Erasmus Mundus projects for S. Caucasus during the period 2007-2014. All four projects have already been completed successfully.

The total number of EU and S. Caucasian beneficiaries who have participated in the projects amounts to 570.
The ATEI of Thessaloniki is also a partner in the following Erasmus Mundus projects:

PANACEA. The consortium is composed of 20 universities from 9 European countries (France, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Belgium, Poland, and Lithuania) and 7 Asian countries (Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam). The project awards 142 scholarships to students from Asia to Europe (http://www.panacea-mundus.eu/).

BASILEUS IV & V. The project consortium consists of 10 EU universities from Belgium, Greece, Sweden, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, France & Italy and 10 universities from the Western Balkans (Serbia, FYROM, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania). The project awards 270 scholarships to students and Academics or Staff from the W. Balkans to EU and vice versa (http://www.basileus.ugent.be/index.asp).

TOSCA II (a partnership of European and Central Asian universities). The project awards 110 scholarships to beneficiaries from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for the period 2013-2016 (http://www.mundus.amu.edu.pl/TOSCAII/index.php).

International Journal of Global Ideas (IJGI). An open access journal on a wide variety of topics, including business & economics, anthropology, the arts, history, language, literature, sociology, politics, international affairs, religion, etc. The journal is published in English in Kazakhstan.
