Application Procedure (2010/2011) * UPDATED ON 2/4/2011 *
 

All the applications have to be submitted online through this website. In case you have any difficulties or questions please contact Ms Maria Panidou ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).   The supporting documents will be uploaded during the online application. The applicants are advised to scan and save on their computer the necessary supporting documents before starting to fill in the online application. Please make sure to name your files with English characters and also to specify the document you are submitting. For example, for your bachelor's diploma (if applicable) use the following name: Amiryan_bachelor_diploma.pdf

 

A)  All the students and fellows (Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate) who are currently registered in a partner University (target group I), will hand in a paper copy of the application and of the online submitted documents  to their International Relations Office (IRO).

 

The supporting documents to be uploaded online should consist of the following files, translated in English (if necessary) and attested:

 

  • Academic records (this concerns only the Undergraduate students)

  • Copy of the existing academic degree (this concerns only the Master or the PhD or the Post-doctorate students/fellows)

  • English (and/or French, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Bulgarian, Latvian) language certificate

  • Certificate about any socio-economic problem, disability, special need or serious medical problem

  • Evidence of nationality (copy of passport).

 

 The candidates' file to the IRO (target group 1) should include the paper copies of all the above documents, plus:

 

  • The print-out of the Erasmus Mundus application, as it was submitted online (please print your application before clicking the submit button).

 

Please notice that simple photocopies and not translated documents are not accepted by the project.

 

 

B)  The Staff Members' (academic / administrative) supporting documents to be uploaded should include:

 

  • A written statement that they fulfill the eligibility criteria according to the Erasmus Mundus guidelines
  • The title and syllabus of the seminar(s) they are going to teach in the hosting Institution or the detailed description of their research topic or the type of training they wish to receive (.doc)
  • English (and/or French, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Bulgarian, Latvian) language certificate
  • A letter of recommendation from the Rector or Dean, describing the University's benefits from this specific mobility.

 

    Duration of the staff's teaching or research or training:

    Teaching 10 hours per week

    Research 20 hours per week

    Training 20 hours per week

     

    The staff members will hand in a paper copy of the application and of the online submitted documents  to their International Relations Office (IRO).

     

     

    C)  The applicants of target group 2 and 3 will upload the following attested documents (in English):

     

  • Academic records (the Undergraduate students only) or existing academic degree (the Master, PhD, Post-doctorate students/fellows only)
  • English (and/or French, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Bulgarian, Latvian) language certificate
  • Evidence of nationality (copy of passport or travel document)
  • Certificate about employment status (if any)
  • Certificate about refugee status or IDP status or asylum beneficiary or vulnerability status (candidates of target group 3 only).

 

 


If necessary, the receiving universities have the possibility to request from the candidates to send by post the paper copies of their application file. Moreover, the selected beneficiaries will have to post their attested documents to the host university before their mobility starts.


 

 

 

The deadlines for the submission of applications are as follows:


1. S. Caucasian Undergraduate and Master Students for the 2nd Round of Mobility: till (extended new date) 31/5/2011 (the mobility will start in September 2011)

2. PhD students: till 31/5/2011 for the 2nd call of applications (the mobility will start in September 2011)

3. Post-doctorate fellows: till 31/5/2011 for the 2nd call of applications (the mobility will start in September 2011)

4. Staff: till (extended new date) 31/5/2011 (the mobility can take place any time during the implementation of the project)

5. EU undergraduate and master students: till (extended new date) 31/5/2011 for the winter semester 2011/2012.

    Communication of the selection results:

    The selection results will be published on the Intranet and will be sent to the beneficiaries by e-mail  in due time before the date of mobility.
